    While responding to a call from one of Sampson's neighbors later that night, Crestview police Andrew Schneider flipped the flag to turn it right-side up. When Sampson saw the change, he was angry. I believe that I have something to say and want people to listen to me, he later explained. " You do not have the right to impose your views on me. Don't they realize that what 'I'm doing makes America free ."

Hi Andy

    In all the past years whenever I saw you we would politely greet  one another. Even the night you arrested me we were cordial and  then you submitted  what I believe was a false sworn statement, nevertheless I could  still tell you were a decent guy. You were brand-new on the police force  at the time.  Just curious, when did you fully discover that Sgt Land and your senior partner set you up? Did you notice that neither of them submitted false reports? They only told you how  and what to say, I’m sure. You know better today!......I have been observing you around the community for many years now.....basic patrolman...Sergeant...LT. I think you know I deliver pizza to  make money to feed my family. You are always doing something positive for the community . . . Thanks.

    As crazy as this seems I do not want you to lose your job. It would be a loss to the entire community. You must have heard that I was a "records freak." I keep everything....and everything is  seems to me to be clear. Someone was not telling the truth! Police reports...statements...court transcripts . . . newspaper articles once all  are lined up they point to a serious problem.  I think crimes were committed and not by me.

    It was a slow ride to county lock up that day. If you remember, I just mostly listened to your views . . . red  . . . white . . . and blue as they were. While you were speaking , all of could think about was the Taliban , and what they would do to someone that differed or expressed disagreement with them. What you did not know was that the State of Florida was in the process of terminating my parental rights . TERMINATING !  Did you understand what that would mean  at the time to me? Nobody seemed to care. The front page story did the trick  and got the needed attention.  Guess the flag flying upside down help.

    The part that still shocks me to this day is how your partner was telling me that he had already coordinated with Gregg Anchors to file charges against me and no crime had been committed. He apparently was right! It appears he could tell me he was coordinating an arrest and prosecution for a crime I had not yet committed.  Seemed to me like someone was setting me up ,  but who could I inform  or turn to? Today we have come a long way as a community. Most of  the "good old boys" are now gone. It is a wonder that you remained as clean as you have under Maxie Barrows and "group. "

    Lately I have been filing out job applications. Right there in criminal history, I have to put:  “No fine... just $139 in court costs. “   Then it has a blank space that says , EXPLAIN THE CHARGES........Andy, for years now I have been trying to explain it! It will take a book to do that.
